George the Ghost

How to explain this character .. He's not actually my creation, but I sort of adopted him because I always liked telling stories about him. How George came into being .. when my parents bought our house (built in 1903) the lady that was selling it did not want to, so she tried to scare them off with the claim the house was haunted by a ghost named George. Interestingly enough, according to her he could be seen, but not heard. (no, we have witnessed no paranormal activity in the eighteen years we've lived here) Anyway, jokingly, we would always blame anything odd the happened on our supposed ghost.

As I adopted George as my character (I want to do a comic series about his crazy adventures, as a humorous thing) I've expanded on his lore. His greatest desire is to convince the humans that they really are being haunted, but no matter what he does, they never believe he's real. As he's jinxed to never make a sound (except on Halloween night, from twelve to four in the morning) he has to come up with increasingly insane things to do. From stealing banana plants to smashing mailboxes, and far more, George is willing to go to great lengths to get noticed
